Hand-painted wooden musical egg from the Reuge Russian Egg Collection depicting a Romeo and Juliet ballet scene. Limited edition of 500. Mounted on the original turned wooden pedestal and fitted with a Swiss-made 18-note Reuge movement.
When wound, the egg rotates smoothly and plays "A Time for Us (Romeo and Juliet)." Painted scene shows stylized ballet figures in warm tones. Underside retains the original Reuge movement label confirming title and maker.
Includes egg and base only; no box, paperwork, or certificate.
Condition: Very Good (VG). Musical movement works properly with clear sound and smooth rotation. Light surface wear and minor finish marks consistent with careful display. No cracks, splits, or repairs.
